SAHIWAL: A civil society organisation began a three-day training workshop for women workers on the labour and anti-sexual harassment law on Friday.

The workshop is being organised by the Insan Dost Association (IDA) where women working at kilns, factories, homes, agriculture farms, schools and markets will discuss their rights related under labour and anti-sexual harassment laws.

IDA’s Anum Matto said through these initiatives working women from the formal and informal sectors were coming up at one platform for their collective engagements.

The workshop will discuss basic rights such as freedom of movement, choice of job, access to basic social services, and bearing extreme forms of physical, mental and sexual abuses.
