ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and the founder of Minhajul Quran Dr Tahirul Qadri, who last year stayed on the roads of Islamabad for four months, has again reached the federal capital.
However, this time Mr Qadri has come to the city to spread the message of peace as he will launch 11 books which he has written to eradicate terrorism and promote peace.
The inaugural ceremony of the books, which have been written in English, Urdu and Arabic languages, will be held at Marriott Hotel at 1:30pm on Wednesday.
According to a statement, the copies of the books have also been sent to the heads of all the countries, the United Nations and the embassies of Pakistan abroad.
Mr Qadri claimed that under the National Action Plan (NAP) it was the responsibility of the government to prepare a peace curriculum but as the rulers failed to do so, he decided to write the books.
President PAT Dr Raheeq Abbasi suggested the government introduce the books in colleges and universities to keep the new generation away from violence.

Does he feel the need to apologize to Pakistani nation for his "Revolution" mess that cost us so much & made lives miserable for millions of people for months ? I am so glad that our political leaders seems to be becoming a bit mature & sensible now, be it Tahir-ul-Qadri, Imran Khan or Nawaz Sharif, thank you all.

I like it but hope that English and Urdu versions are the same , for a change . TUQ is renowned for saying one thing in Urdu for local naeves but excatly the opposite on the same topic in English for consumption of his westren freinds and patrons.

One may disagree with his political movement, but in all fairness its near impossible to not be impressed by the sheer volume and quality of his research and academic work on religion.
His fatwa against terrorism is a brilliant air tight proof of 600+ pages of historical references and citations and against terrorism and all kinds of extremism.
One ought not let one's political or religious bias , taint one's judgment of his academic work.

Today Our Nation doesn’t recognize this great man. He has done great work on peace &
he will be in history as sign of peace & servant of Islam.
Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri’s services for promotion of interfaith dialogue, harmony, tolerance, establishment of peace at global level and elimination of terrorism are praiseworthy.

It's really been a tradition that people always blame those who want to work for them and are innocent (Do mistakes unintentionally). And the other day they turn to those who they curse throughout the year.

@liaqat ali What's your proof for saying this? I hope it's not that one video that spread on social media. When you judge someone, at least look into the matters more deeply. He, even in English, did say that the punishment for blasphemy is death under certain conditions. Besides that, you need to produce a concrete proof, such as comparing his books in English to those in Urdu. I did not find any contradictions as it is being propagated. In his 'fatwa against terrorism', he blamed the western policies for the cause of terrorism.

This man betrayed his followers and enjoyed life in the garb of "treatment". He is a fraud and continues to befool his stupid party men and women. Those whose kith and kin were murdered are still waiting for justice. May be Divine Justice will prevail and punish the guilty. InshaAllah.
