Career selection

Published July 29, 2015

IF Shahid Afridi had selected singing as a career instead of cricket and Rahat Fateh Ali Khan had chosen cricket instead of singing, would they have succeeded like they did? Who knows, but they selected their careers on the basis of their talent and passion which is why they are successful.

Many universities have announced admissions and students are in a quandary regarding career selection. Many youth become more nervous when their parents force a career on them. Sometimes, teachers also make a student double minded by misguiding them.

I request parents and teachers to play a positive role in helping youth make the right choice or best option in career selection.
