KHAIRPUR/MIRPURKHAS: A man, his son and a nephew were killed when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a truck near Banaras Colony on Civil Hospital Road late on Friday night, officials at the B-Section police station said on Saturday. Sagheer Ali, 28, along with his wife, Rubina Sagheer, three-year-old son Saagar Ali, and eight-year-old niece, Koyal, 8, were returning home in Hussainabad village of Kot Diji Taluka after visiting Khairpur Civil Hospital when the two-wheeler met with the accident. The woman was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition.

In another accident, a man and a woman accompanying him were killed when a car hit the motorbike they were riding on Mirpurkhas-Mirwah Gorchani Road on Saturday evening.

According to the officials at the Taluka police station, Waseem Rajput and his relative, Tahira Perveen, 45, were killed and the woman’s son, Sajjad Ali, 14, was injured in the accident.
