Depp, makes a visit to a children’s hospital

JOHNNY Depp, dressed in full Jack Sparrow garb, made a surprise visit to the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital to put some smiles on kids’ faces. The children’s hospital in Australia is close to where he’s currently filming the latest instalment of Pirates of the Caribbean, and the photos instantly hit the ‘Twitterverse’.

Depp was seen interacting with a number of young fans, posing for selfies and kneeling down for a loving embrace.

Two years back, Depp told E! News that he always travels with his Sparrow costume for this reason. “Sometimes you go to kiddie hospitals and things like that,” the actor explained in 2013. “I’ll just sneak in and go and surprise a bunch of kiddies through the different wards… It basically turns into a two-, three-hour improvisation and it’s really fun.”

Alvin and the Chipmunks are back!

ALVIN and the Chipmunks are back and taking their antics on the road in the upcoming sequel Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip.

The trailer sees Alvin and company travelling to places like New Orleans and Miami while, as in previous instalments, the chipmunks sing and dance their way through their adventure.

The screenplay finds Alvin, Simon and Theodore going through a series of misunderstandings, believing that Dave (Jason Lee) after getting engaged in New York City will dump them. They have three days to get to him and stop the proposal, saving themselves not only from losing Dave but possibly from gaining a terrible stepbrother. The movie will hit theatres on December 23.
