KARACHI: There will be no races at the Karachi Racecourse on Sunday and the Gymkhana race meeting will resume following a layoff after Eid, an official of the Karachi Race Club (KRC) told Dawn.

It has been a lull for the last one month as the last meeting was held on June 14. Three races that normally held during the first three weeks in Ramazan could not take place due to the heatwave in the city and indisposition of racing horses.

The next date will be announced later
