Power outage

Published July 11, 2015

THIS is not by way of complaint but an attempt to put the record right because the report of electricity breakdown as published in the July 8 issue does not give the true picture.

Phase V Extension in DHA was almost free from electricity breakdowns until about June 15 when short breakdowns of up to an hour commenced occurring twice or thrice a day.

On July 7, short breakdowns of around 15 minutes occurred throughout the day from 9am and up to Iftar time. There were around two dozen breakdowns. The electricity broke down at 8.50pm on July7 and was restored the next morning at 7.10am, a breakdown of 10 hours and 20 minutes.
