IT HAS become a status symbol to be escorted by private security guards in vehicles and being flanked by these guards when they disembark from their vehicles.
As most of them are high and mighty, the government seems powerless to do anything against them. The least the government can do is to regulate their uniform because most of them are wearing uniform similar to the police, FC or the police elite force, thereby masquerading as official guards and intimidating the people.
If the government enforces a uniform for private security guards, we will at least know that they are private personnel and will not mistake them for official guards and are not intimidated.
