SUKKUR: Activists of the Qaumi Awami Tehreek staged a demonstration on Sunday in protest against rampant corruption in the province and loadshedding and called for imposition of ban on Muttahida Qaumi Movement.

Local QAT leaders said the PPP had legalised corruption in all government departments and jobs were being given to the highest bidders, which had pushed the institutions to the brink of collapse.

They demanded imposition of ban on the MQM because the ‘organisation was a party of extortionists, killers and qabza mafia’.
