DERA ISMAIL KHAN: An employee of South Waziristan Levies was killed and four others were wounded when a pickup truck collided with a rickshaw near Kot Jatta in Gomal area here on Saturday, police and eyewitnesses said.

They said the rickshaw was going at a high speed when it hit the pickup. As a result, an employee of SWA Levies was killed and four others were injured. The victim was identified as Majid Khan. The injured were shifted to a local hospital, where doctors referred two of them to DHQ hospital, Dera Ismail Khan.

Meanwhile, an eight-year-old boy drowned while taking a dip in a pond in Thehri Malook village, police said on Saturday. He was identified as Imtiaz Hussain. Published in Dawn, July 5th, 2015
