MQM and law

Published July 2, 2015

THE MQM was founded by Altaf Hussain with the declared aim of giving the migrants a sense of identity. What has been achieved by the MQM, and its successes and failures shall be judged by future historians.

However, there is one fact that cannot be ignored. The party always promoted a culture of confrontation with others. It has always exercised pressure tactics in politics.

Now that the MQM is facing a serious threat to its very existence, it should be given the opportunity of a fair trial in courts of law. Let the law of the land prevail.
