KARACHI: Six garbage transfer stations (GTSs) will be constructed in various parts of the city for the storage of solid waste management, said a Karachi Metropolitan Corporation statement on Tuesday.
It added that Administrator Roshan Ali Shaikh had approved Rs1.79 billion for the purpose. Mr Shaikh, speaking to officers of the KMC, pointed out that the GTSs would be constructed by Dec 30.
