We all know how fickle the world of showbiz can be. ‘Out of sight, out of mind’ is the idiom that comes to mind.

Rajesh Khanna is considered to be the first super star of Indian cinema. When the late actor was around, people used to fawn over him. Not today. Kaka, as he was fondly known, had a nice bungalow along the sea in Mumbai. He spent a considerable time of his life there. But now someone who bought the bungalow last year has decided to demolish it to build a multi-storey building. Nothing surprising, you might argue. But couldn’t the house have been turned into a museum or a Rajesh Khanna memorabilia place? Just a thought for Bollywood bigwigs!
