WE have been observing inconsistency in our educational system, as we have Urdu medium curriculum for one class of our society and English for another.
Besides, we have religious curriculum for yet another.
We have been nourishing three diverse ideological factions in our society which have been upholding three conflicting realities. Consequently, such conflicting notions can easily be visible in a practical form in our political structure, in our socio-economic one, and in our religious one.
We immediately require a uniform basic educational system from Kindergarten to intermediate across Pakistan. Only then will people be free to pursue their careers according to their choice.
