DERA MURAD JAMALI: A woman and a man were killed in the name of honour in a village in Nasirabad district.

Babul Khan opened fire on his sister and her alleged paramour in Goth Manzoor Umrani when he saw them together, police said. The couple suffered multiple bullet injuries and died on the spot.

Police took the bodies to the district hospital and later handed them over to heirs.

No arrest has been made.

In another incident, a lineman of the Quetta Electric Supply Company, Moham­mad Anwar, was electrocuted while working on the main supply line in Kot Mengal.
