GWADAR: Armed men attacked the house of Balochistan Health Minister Rehmat Saleh Baloch in Panjgur town on Saturday evening.

Police said unidentified armed men hurled three grenades into the minister’s house, adding that two exploded in the backyard and one outside the guestroom. However, no one was injured.

Rehmat Baloch was not home at the time of the attack. Members of his family and some guests were inside the house, who remained unhurt.

Haji Saleh Baloch, father of the minister, said windowpanes of the house and nearby buildings were smashed. DPO Panjgur Mohammad Iqbal Yousufzai said police were investigating the matter.

Rehmat Baloch condemned the attack and termed it against the Baloch traditions.
