THIS is apropos a recklessly-driven police car (LWB 8119) which made a mockery of traffic rules on May 14 in the DHA, Lahore. It did all the possible road acrobatics about 4pm starting on Walton Road/Main Boulevard junction till it took a right turn to its destination, the police station in S Block, DHA.

It had tinted windows to conceal the identity of the men in uniform, and it flouted the lane discipline in full view of the motorists on the busy road moving from the right lane to the extreme left and back in quick time.

It violated at least two red signals while the traffic wardens ignored them intentionally. I wonder if the city traffic chief will take notice and conduct an inquiry.
