GWADAR: A clash between two groups allegedly involved in drug trade left three people dead on Monday, police said.

Gunmen intercepted a vehicle of their opponents and opened fire, killing two people. Then they torched the vehicle, Panjgur District Police Officer Mohammad Iqbal said. One body, identified as that of Sunil Habib, was charred.

Soon after the incident, relatives of the deceased attacked the house of one of their opponents and in an exchange of fire one person was killed. He was identified as Muhammad Ashraf. “The deceased and attackers were involved in drug business and Sunil Habib was wanted by police in a drug case,” the DPO said.

The third deceased was identified as Javed Rasool Bakhsh.
