KARACHI: The Engineering Development Board (EDB), an arm of the ministry of industries, has made a revenue generation plan to earn Rs30 million annually.

The plan was presented in 32nd meeting of the Board of Management of EDB and was approved, in principle. The plan was also discussed with stakeholders in the 21st Auto Industry Development Committee held on April 29.

To match the service with its cost, a plan has been developed to charge fee on registration of new companies, re-validation of certifications, determination of local manufacturing status and inclusion of items in Customs General Order (CGO)-11/2007 etc.
