THIS is apropos the news report ‘Two Hazara men killed at bus stand’ (April 28). This news reminds us about a government decision that security to the Hazara community will be provided from Hazara Town to the vegetable market and Quetta to Taftan.

It appears that the government cannot provide security to Hazaras anywhere in Quetta or in the limits of Balochistan.

If this is true, then the Balochistan government, security agencies and the federal government, which behaves as a silent spectator, have no right to remain in authority as they appear to have accepted their failure to provide liberty and security to citizens.

The security of life and property of any person is like security of mankind. But we are more interested in providing security to VIPs.
