ISLAMABAD: The protesting employees of the Khyber Pakhtunkhawa health and education department were arrested and sent to jail on Saturday, the police said.

They have been protesting outside the house of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan for the last couple of week. On Friday, they gathered at Korang Road and blocked it for general traffic.

The police tried to convince them to disperse, but they refused. Later, the police arrested them and shifted them to police station. The police have registered a case against them under PPC 188 and 186.

On Saturday, they were produced in the magistrate court who sent them on judicial remand.
