PARIS: Paris St Germain quickly got back on track after their Champions League loss to Barcelona as Ezequiel Lavezzi rediscovered his scoring touch on Saturday, notching a hat-trick in a resounding 6-1 demolition of Lille at the Parc des Princes on Saturday.

PSG were comprehensively beaten 5-1 on aggregate by Barca in the Champions League quarter-finals in midweek, but against a very poor Lille side scored twice inside the first four minutes through Maxwell and Edinson Cavani.

Cavani then set up Lavezzi to tap in the third in the 28th minute and he struck again from a Blaise Matuidi assist just before the break.

Defender Marko Basa headed in a Lille corner in the 59th minute but the visitors finished the match with 10 players after Sebastian Corchia was sent off for fouling Lavezzi in the 71st. Cavani converted the penalty and Lavezzi completed his hat trick in the 77th.

PSG have 68 points with five matches left, three ahead of second-placed Lyon.
