You can’t doubt the fact that suddenly there is an upsurge in production of Pakistani films. As far as their quality and comparison with their international counterparts goes, the issue remains debatable. Despair not.

A new Pakistani rom-com titled Halla Gulla is set for a mid-2015 release. Directed by Kamran Akbar Khan, the film has a known cast comprising Javed Sheikh, Asim Mahmood, Sidra Batool, Zara Gul and Ashraf Khan. The music for the project has been composed by Sahir Bagga and playback singers include the likes of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and some familiar Indian names. So, all looks good. Hope the film creates the halla gulla that its makers are hopeful about.
