ISLAMABAD: Majority of educational institutions have failed to provide quality education from primary to graduation level and they need to improve it.
This was stated by Muzaffar Mahmood Qureshi, former secretary Ministry of Women, Social Welfare & Special Education here on Tuesday.
He was delivering a lecture on 18th Amendment and devolution of social sector at the National Institute of Historical and Cultural Research, Quaid-i-Azam University.
The function was organised by Pakistan Study Group on Federalism.
The retired secretary also showed his concern over the mushroom growth of private educational institutions, which merely focus on generating money.
Talking about the role of federal government following the 18th amendment, he said: “There should be no interference in the working of provinces but federal government should extend maximum support to them in achieving the goals,” he said.
