I AM an electrical engineer doing MSc in telecommunications from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. My coursework has completed and now my thesis is in progress.

I am facing difficulty in my research work because of zero interaction between universities and industries. I went to different telecommunication industries for my research work, but due to lack of interest in research, I found it difficult to get information for thesis.

There is no mechanism for research students if they need data and information from industries. The engineer is meant to be in the industry. But our universities have no collaboration with industries.

Hence, when a student like me want to do a practical and technical research in the field, he suffers a lot and at the end found it almost impossible to carry our quality research.

Research is the basic and important tool through which the world is entering into technological advancement. If we want to be in the race of scientific and industrial progress, we must focus on research.
