LAHORE: A dacoity suspect managed to flee police custody after a single bench of the Lahore High Court dismissed his bail petition on Thursday.

The suspect, Mukhtar, was wanted by Okara police in connection with a dacoity in which millions of rupees were taken away. The suspect through his counsel pleaded the police implicated him in the case with mala fide intension, seeking grant of bail. The court dismissed the petition.

After the unfavourable decision by the court, the suspect dodged the police officials and managed his escape.
