LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Friday jailed a man for 60 years for his role in the murder of transporter Tipu Truckanwala.

Ahsan Shah was found guilty of facilitating the murder plot. The counsel argued that the suspect had not only plotted and facilitated the killer but also provided him weapon to kill Tipu.

The suspect’s counsel rejected the allegation and argued that the prime suspect was already convicted and his client was implicated in the case.

The court heard arguments and awarded Shah 60-year imprisonment.
