HYDERABAD: A seminary teacher who had gone missing on Feb 4 in Tandojam was found tortured to death on Monday.

Jamshoro SSP Naeem Ahmed Shaikh said that the body of Hafiz Abdul Samad Rajput, 45, was found dumped at a section of Petaro link road.

A resident of Rasheeda Colony in Tandojam, Hafiz Rajput taught at Madressa Hammadia in the town and had gone missing on Feb 4, the SSP said. However, he added, a complaint about his disappearance had not been lodged with the police. He said the body bore marks of torture on the back and shoulders but there was no gunshot wound on it.
