FATEHJANG: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will inaugurate a 300 megawatt coal-powered electricity generation project in Salt Range next month.

This was stated by provincial minister for mines Chaudhry Sher Ali Khan while addressing a prize distribution ceremony at the end of a youth festival here.

The minister said the government was exploring all resources to overcome the gas and electricity shortage.

He said from this plant 300 megawatt electricity would be generated which would bring prosperity to the Potohar region.

The minister said terrorism had ruined the economy and the nation should give full sport to the army, fighting terrorism.

Addressing on the occasion, MPA Mohammad Shahwaiz Khan said he would request Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to release special grant for the construction of a sports complex in Fatehjang.
