ISLAMABAD: Defending champion Pakistan beat Singapore and South Korea on the first day of the 17th Asian Junior Squash Championship in Malaysia.

Results:

Pakistan beat Singapore 3-0 (Asim Khan bt Chua Man Chin 11-5, 11-7, 11-8; Ali Bukhari bt Ben Chan 5-11, 11-9, 11-3, 12-10; Tayyab Aslam bt Kah Ho 11-2, 9-11, 11-4, 11-8).

Pakistan beat South Korea 3-0 (Asim Khan bt Tack Hyo Jin 11-6, 11-6, 11-9; Ali Bukhari bt Oh Sung Hack 11-9, 11-4, 11-6; Tayyab Aslam bt Yoo Sung Yeon 11-7, 11-8, 11-5).
