RAWALPINDI: The Civil aviation Authority on Monday launched a new website with a view to providing updated flights information, weather reports and traffic on the access roads leading to Islamabad Airport.

A press release issued by the CAA of Islamabad airport said retired Air Marshal Mohammad yousaf Director General of Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority inaugurated the launching of New BBIAP website.

Addressing on the occasion the CAA DG said that new website of BBIAP would be an authentic source of flight information and all other facilities and function of other allied government agencies.

This information will be definitely helpful for passengers and their nears and dears to save their precious time and to avoid inconvenience of waiting for long, he said.

He also added that user’s of the website will be encouraged to send their Feedback and comments that would help to improve the website further.

At this function, Additional Director IT CAA highlighted the salient features of the website.

In his address Muhammad Ayaz Jadoon Airport Manager Islamabad said that management was endeavoring to make BBIAP a passenger’s friendly airport.

Director access to new BBIAP website would be made available through http://bbiap.caapakiastan.com.pk within 2 week time, he said. The airport manager along with all Sectional heads, COO and Additional Director IT were also present on the occasion.
