Film company Shiny Toy Guns has announced that their next project titled Dekh Magar Pyar Se will release in the summer in 2015. The feature film will be marking Asadul Haq's cinematic debut as a director and Ali Murtaza will be handling production.

Talking to Dawn, Asad, who has directed many television commercials under the banner of Ambience Films in the past and is known for his out-of-the-box visuals and great attention to detail, reveals that the movie is going to be a romantic comedy with a twist: "It will be stylised in a unique way to tell a racy story in a very different light."

The movie will be shot in Lahore which Ali dubs the "cultural hub of Pakistan" whereas Asad calls it the "most romantic city in Pakistan".

Keeping in mind the cinematic boom in the country, what will set Dekh Magar Pyar Se apart from all other movies?

"We are trying to create something original here, something totally inspired by our own culture, places and stories," shares Ali. "Some recent efforts are truly commendable in the industry as well, and I think as an industry, we need to be different, not individually, where new, fresh subjects and talent is nurtured."

He further explains their vision: "Our inspiration has always been to showcase Pakistan on the global horizon of cinema and film-making. We believe that our story has elements which will contribute to that, and in our little effort we will be able to pursue our idea of bringing out the best from our home-grown talent adding hopefully some stars to Pakistani cinema."

The movie will be developed, financed and produced completely in-house.
