Budget for education

Pakistan allocates only 2.70pc of its annual budget to education and stands at the 136th position in terms of literacy rate in the world.

Both India and Iran spend 5pc of their budget on education. Besides, a country as small as Japan spends 50pc.

The government must allocate a big chunk of its budget on education, the way Japan, England and many other countries do.
