LAHORE: Dr Tahirul Qadri has mailed his anti-terrorism suggestions to the chief of army staff (COAS), saying it is high time for taking collective measures to check the menace in the country.

Copies of the communique, released to the media by Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) president Raheeq Abbasi here on Tuesday, have also been sent to Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Military Intelligence (MI) director generals, besides the joint chief of the staff committee, the president, the prime minister, governors and chief ministers, foreign and interior ministries.

The letter says the war against terrorism should be declared ‘our own war’ and a joint sitting of parliament should be convened to adopt a resolution announcing the ‘National War on Terrorism’.
