WASHINGTON: A White House spokesman declined on Thursday to rule out an eventual visit to the White House by Cuban President Raul Castro, a day after President Barack Obama announced plans to normalise relations with Havana.
“I wouldn’t rule out a visit from President Castro,” spokesman Josh Earnest said.
The White House had said the previous day it was possible Barack Obama could visit Havana after he announced plans for the two governments to establish embassies in their respective capitals.

Nothing could achieved after more than 50 years of sanction on Cuba.
The government and the people may change, because of the growth in their economy after lifting the US sanction.

Once the sanctions and restrictions is lifted, we shud not be surprised if Cuba becomes prosperous in 2 decades owing to the hard working natives and Island becoming a vacationers paradise, will be a real contrast to Pakistan which has only boasted for 67 years of its strategic location and done nothing except becoming hub of terror and smuggling.

US should keep Castro out of country; Castro dynasty started, a pattern in Communist and socialists countries, Syria, Russia. Keep these dictators out of USA. Diplomatic ties OK.
