BARCELONA: An Alfred Finnbogason double gave David Moyes’ Real Sociedad a 2-0 victory over third-tier Real Oviedo, who had held them to a 0-0 draw at home, and earned them a place in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey on Wednesday.

Villarreal, Espanyol and Levante also went through after winning their round-of-32 ties against lower-division opponents.

Espanyol beat Alaves 3-0 on aggregate, Villarreal beat Cadiz 5-1 on aggregate and Levante went through on away goals against Albacete after drawing 1-1 over two legs.

Ten-man Granada emerged from thick fog at Cordoba’s Nuevo Arcangel Stadium with a 1-1 draw that sent them through to the last 16. Granada had won the first leg 1-0 and advanced 2-1 on aggregate.

In the night’s other tie between top-flight sides, Getafe scored twice in the first half to win 2-1 at Eibar and advance 5-1 on aggregate.
