One person killed after blast near Pak-Iran border

QUETTA: One person has been killed while two civilians were injured after a blast near the Pak-Iran border on Sunday morning.

Three people had initially been injured in the explosion, however one victim later succumbed to his wounds. Security was tightened in the aftermath of blast.

A security official who declined to be named told Dawn.com that the nature of blast was yet to be confirmed.

The injured were rushed to nearby hospital for medical treatment.

Levies and personnel of Quick Response Force (QRF) reached the spot and cordoned off the area to probe into the incident.
