KARACHI: Inspired by fine performances from Fawad Irfan and Rohit Mukesh, St Paul’s English School defeated Meritorious Science College in the sixth Ian Fyfe Memorial Inter-school Invitation T20 Cricket League here on Wednesday.

Batting first after winning the toss at the KGA Gymkhana Ground, St Paul’s scored 159-4 thanked to a opening partnership of 70 between Fawad (81) and Rohit (37).

Spinner Hamza Hanif claimed three wickets for 38 runs.

Meritorious Science, in their reply, ended up making 125-9 with Hammad contributing 33.

Rohit excelled with his slow left-armers to capture three wickets for 12, while Hamza Khan grabbed three for17.
