PML-N stalwarts make no secret of indignation

LAHORE: Disgruntled PML-N leader Senator Sirdar Zulfiqar Khosa has said he and other Muslim Leaguers had been defending the Sharif brothers’ “falsehood” about their agreement with Musharraf.

Talking to a private TV channel, Khosa said the Sharifs had gone to Jeddah after making an agreement with retired Gen Pervez Musharraf without taking him into confidence.

“I have no personal issue with Nawaz Sharif. Nawaz has become owner of the country while his younger brother Shahbaz the owner of a province,” he said, adding he could not defend the corruption of the Sharifs.

The former governor further said the Sharif brothers gave a false hope to the people of south Punjab about creating new province for them.

“Shahbaz wants to be the chief minister of united Punjab as the Sharifs had never been in favour of division of the province,” he said.

He said PML-N’s members of parliament and workers were being ignored.

“Now the Sharifs have started listening to their grievances after we raised a voice,” Khosa said.

Another ‘angry’ PML-N stalwart from Sindh, Ghaus Ali Shah, said Nawaz had become “accidental leader” and he liked “flatterers” in the party.

When people like Khosa and Ghaus Ali Shah speak the people refuse to listen because they have ZERO credibility. Who ever chose the picture of the two Sharif brothers did an excellent job because it tells their story quite well.

Both Sardar Khosa Sahib as well Syed Ghous Ali Sahib, are old party stalwarts, that remained loyal to Nawaz and company, during difficult times. I wholeheartedly agree with them, that Nawaz and Shabaz, are behaving as if they own Pakistan. " Where wealth accumulates, men decay"

Only proofs of corruption provided by Mr. Khosa would increase his credibility. I won't be surprised if he really has some proofs but I would be surprised of his courage if he provides the proofs to the nation. Mere threatening words just seem to be a blackmailing tool.

This is the beauty of democracy. Let democracy flourish and filter in Pakistan, and slowly and gradually family fiefdoms will fall down, and after experiences, Pakistan will witness real democracy. Mr. IK do not make haste and let this govt. complete its tenure, otherwise, if these politicians will again claim to be innocent, if any adventurism takes place in the event of military takeover. Mr. IK your future is green, if you, but simply wait for next turn provided that you continuously struggle for ensuring free, free and impartial elections in Pakistan.

The credibility of Noon league and it's leaders is highly questionable. After last election every body was saying that election was unfair. This should should have been nullified by the highest court; but unfortunately that never happened. That resulted the Dharna of Imran Khan. Mr. Khan should demand the cancellation of the entire election immediately and after investigation, all the elected members who were found cheated, should sent to prison. A new election under supervision of the army should be held ASAP.

The dynamism generated by PTI in the political landscape has forced many political players to wake up to the new realities and find their own relevance in the post Nawaz-Zardari Pakistan. Whilst PML N is playing "Changa Manga" with PTI, revolt is brewing up in their own rank and file.

Let us be pragmatic. Which liveried guy has lived up to his words? Ayub and his BD system had had us. Yahya didn't hand over power to the majority leader as promised. Zia reneged on his promise of elections in 90 days: It stretched into 11 years! MusharrafCome on, Nawaz's sin pales in comparison. Haven't Khosa heard: 'One who fights and runs away lives to fight another day,' and this is what he did. Or did ZK wanted to have had his tomb built next to Data Darbar? Besides, ZK'sson still has to count for a missing woman he married and is since missing, presumably murdered? Not only ZK enjoyed the ministries but got appointed his brother in law as an ambassador whose only qualification was that he was his wife's brother? The stains still show, dont they?

Wind for 'Change' is blowing fast. All politicians have to think of serving Pakistani citizens firts, before serving themselves. Last term during 5 year term PPP did not do much about (1) Education - Millions of children out of school - Lets see if PML(N) can solve this problems? PPP did not build enough hospitals - millions of poor Pakistanis cannot afford medical treatment, lets see if PML(N) can solve this problems? Last term of 5 years PPP did not control crimes and corruption in society, lets see if PML(N) can control crimes and corruption? Poor people as citizens of Pakistan are suffering & ultra rich politicians are enjoying good life. Too many speeches, not much results to show for. Any political party that does not solve nation's problem, does not deserve nations votes.

I realy don't understand how can people still vote for parties like PPP and PML-N. This is the exact reason of our backwardness and lack of prosperity in the country. How many more chances do we need to give to these corrupt politicians? If we can't even change our loyalty to these corrupt political mafias then how can we expect a change? I am not a fan of IK but will only and only vote for him to give him a chance. May be he will be same as others or may be he willl be ddifferent but we have to give him a chance to show what he's all about.

While Sharifs were comfortably lodged in Saudi Arabia , some old guards were manning the fort, men like Hashmi ,Khosa were on front line against Musharraf. When brothers came back , they awarded their cronies and truly set up a Kitchen Cabinet to run the country.

There has not beeen any genuine muslim leagee since long. People support only because of Sharif's promises of benefits. You know while in government you can't benefit all of the MPs at the same time. Whoever gets less, starts crying. Khosa is only one such example. I wonder how long will this kind of politics survive in Pakistan?

Even when I do not support Sharifs, I think Khosas, both father and son are disgraceful. Without any vote bank or any credibility Khosas were awarded by Sharifs with CM and Governor posts of Punjab when they didn't even merit a ministry. They should be thankful to Sharifs for rest of their life. Same goes for Ghaus Ali Shah who was made CM of Sindh. Problem with these people is, that once they are awarded with some post which they haven't earned, they want to keep it for rest of their lives.
