COAS visits arms facility in Indonesia

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, who is on an official tour in Indonesia, visited on Wednesday the country’s arms and special vehicle manufacturing facility (Pindad Corporation).

The army chief was briefed by top defence officials about the facility and its products.

Possibilities of collaboration with Pakistan Ordnance Factory Wah and Heavy Industries Taxila were discussed on the occasion, said a press release.

Later, Gen Sharif was taken around the facility and shown armoured vehicles produced there.
