Singer, songwriter and comedian Ali Gul Pir who gained instant stardom with 'Waderai ka Beta' , a comedic song highlighting VIP culture and the political situation in Pakistan, is now making headlines for a different reason — he is getting married!

Speaking to the 'Taroo Maroo' star, we were exposed to a different side of the sarcastic and hilarious Ali we all have come to know — he's a romantic.

"I've partied a lot in my life, but there's a time and place for everything and it was simply time for me to grow up and move on to the next stage of my life. I was lucky enough to meet and fall in love with someone at the right time who's awesome and fun," he told Dawn.

Although Ali is not comfortable disclosing the name of his fiancée just yet, he said they met over a year ago through mutual friends and clicked instantly.

"It's like being in love with a friend, which is the best thing," the smitten singer said.

No date for the wedding has yet been finalised. However, Ali shared that the wedding will take place sometime in the summer of 2015.
