LAHORE: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday called on Governor Chaudhry Sarwar at the Governor House amid reports of his differences with the Sharifs.

According to a handout, the prime minister and the governor had a discussion on important national and political matters.

Rumours have been rife over their differences following Sarwar’s meeting with MQM chief Altaf Husain in London ‘without’ the consent of the prime minister and his criticism on the Sharifs for their style of governance.

This was PM’s second meeting with Sarwar during the last week or so.
