LAHORE: Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman called on Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Monday.

A press release issued after the meeting said they discussed matters of mutual interest and political situation of the country. It would not give details of what transpired between the two.

It quoted the CM as saying that Pakistan was facing a number of challenges and political forces should display maturity in the present situation.

Engineer Ameer Muqam, adviser to prime minister, and MNA Dostan Khan Domki also met Shahbaz.
