KARACHI: The NED University of Engineering and Technology clinched the NUST Inter-University Girls Throwball Tournament as they beat Liaquat Medical University 15-11 in the final on Sunday evening.

Sara Raza-led NED side put up an outstanding display as they won five matches in a row to emerge winners.

Other members of the NED team included Mahnoor Asif, Najiya Siddiqui, Hira Rasool, Hunza Niazi, Hannah Shoaib, Erum Fatima and Yusra Arshad.

Earlier in the semi-finals, NED University defeated the Textile Institute of Pakistan 15-7 in a one-sided encounter.
