ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan avoided mentioning the name of Amir Dogar, the independent candidate supported by PTI who defeated Javed Hashmi in the Multan by-election, at his party’s sit-in here on Thursday.
Addressing his supporters, he said: “I am upset because the politics of Mr Javed Hashmi is going to end.”
Mr Khan said he was upset when Javed Hashmi had alleged that “Imran is trying to topple the government with the support of the military”, adding that he won’t malign Mr Hashmi.
The PTI chief had owned Amir Dogar at his party’s rally in Multan on Oct 10.
But PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi welcomed the victory of Amir Dogar, saying that although the PML-N was supporting Javed Hashmi, “we secured the National Assembly seat in the by-election”. Talking to a TV channel, he said:
“The rabbit [election symbol of Amir Dogar] ate the ‘lion’ of the PML-N.”

Last year PTI got 83,640 votes this year they got 37.4 % less votes in Na-149. The total number of votes also declined by almost 45% if we consider 3 leading candidates. Hence people interest has declined and they do not want new elections.

No electric theft, no khundas , everyone will be following traffic laws, no bribes.
Postman will start delivering mails, office staff will show up on time.
This Naya Pakistan, if IK dares to make and take this challenge.

IK is upset that after Qureshi succeeded pushing Hashmi out of PTI, Hashmi met an end in politics. IK is upset because Qureshi now has to throw IK out before he can claim himself next PM. Ending of IK's political career is on the well.

It's funny "Imran see an end to hashmis politics" lots of people, analysts, and current politicians (the kind that can firmly tell the people wether they are in the National Assembly or not, not the circus from PTI that says the government is corrupt but joins in on the NA149 elections so called "corrupt election system", yet not resigning from the National Assembly Still) claim the same about Imran Khan. At least Hashmi practicewhat he preaches unlike the confused IK & PTI circus and it's wave of anarchy and stupidity

This election wasn't a contest between Dogar and Hashmi. It was a referendum against the allegations leveled by Mr. Hashmi. PTI voters just showed their resentment against Hashmi and his senseless and baseless allegations

Last trick he played with the PTI has contributed a lot to end his political carrier. With the growing political awareness in the masses and a very active media, Hashmi has no chance to resurrect. Politically, he is gone. I think, even PMLN will not even take a risk to take him back.

Hashmi's presumptuousness was to be punished by the people in this election. He over confidently took part in this election to show everybody that he could win without PTI on his back. The reason he got this confidence was b/c he knew PMLN would give him his utmost support by using the government machinery. PMLN did eventually what he had to do BUT people came out to support the wrong person (Mr. dogar) for all the right reasons.

If there was no rigging, why are PMLN ministers taking stay orders AGAINST vote verification? After all, if they won cleanly, they should have be happy to have vote verification as that would only prove their case.

still won't change anything, PTI clearly said they are against this system and now they are celebrating when they won. It clear that it's not Naya Pakistan than IK wants, it just for himself,
PTI has won a battle, PML N still won the war, Hashmi was their own and they defeated him
