DSC set to stage T20 match

ISLAMABAD: The Dubai Sports City (DSC) ticket office is all set for action this weekend as the opening international match of the cricket season, the Twenty20 International between Pakistan and Australia on Sunday night, draws ever closer.

The last time these two sides locked horns in a T20 at the Dubai International Stadium, in 2012, there was a sell-out and officials at the DSC are gearing up for a similar public response this time, says a press release issued here.

DSC general manager sports business Maqbul Dudhia said: “We are determined to ensure that the cricket lovers who want tickets have every chance to get hold of them ahead of this much-anticipated first action of the season.

“The match two years ago was a sell-out and we have every reason to think that this encounter will go close to that this time, so our advice to people thinking they will delay their purchase is to get in now, while they still can,” he said.
