Fuelled by Mehwish Hayat's item number in Na Maloom Afraad and Shaan's highly anticipated Operation 021, movie lovers are in for a treat this Eid-ul-Azha.

Below are the film options for the three-day holiday:

Operation 021

Though there is speculation that the upcoming action thriller is a copycat Waar, the filmmakers of 021 have promised a completely different, yet similarly thrilling experience. Produced by Zeba Bakhtiar and her son Azaan Sami Khan, the film has been directed by Jami in collaboration with Australian director Summer Nicks.

The film has Shaan starring as the lead actor, with supporting roles played by Shamoon Abbasi, Aamina Sheikh and Ayub Khoso.

Plot: After three decades of war, an Afghan man (Ayub Khoso), teams up with his Pakistani ally Kashif Siddiqui (Shaan) to save his country from further 50 years of corporate warfare. They plan to save the neighbouring countries at the risk of not only their lives, but also their families. A plan that has 21 hours to be executed.

Na Maloom Afraad

Another Pakistani film – but this one is an action comedy. With catchy dialogues, crazy humour and Mehwish Hayat's jhatkas in a ghagra choli – this film is going to give 021 tough competition.

The movie stars Fahad Mustafa, Mohsin Abbas Haider, Jawed Sheikh in the lead roles, with Salman Shahid appearing in a villainous role. Urwa Hocain plays the female lead and Mehwish Hayat makes a special appearance as ‘herself’ in the film.

Plot: In this action comedy, an incident brings three reckless individuals together who had been running after their own dreams and ambitions. Together, they run around in the city of Karachi to save their love, life and asses.

Bang Bang

Bang! Here come Hrithik and Katrina in an action-packed romantic adventure, which broke all Bollywood records with just a trailer that set a record of 2.33 million views in 24 hours.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is packed with hit music, lots of action and sizzling chemistry between the lead pair, Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif.

Plot: An official remake of the Hollywood film Knight and Day, where a girl (Katrina Kaif) gets involved with a spy (Hrithik Roshan) trying to clear his name.

The Maze Runner

Even if you're not a sci-fi fan, this film is still worth the watch for sheer thrill factor.

Directed by Wes Ball, the film stars Dylan O'Brien, Kaya Scodelario, Thomas Brodie-Sangster (Game of Thrones), Ki Hong Lee and Will Poulter (The Chronicles of Narnia; We're the Millers).

Plot: Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) wakes up trapped in a place called the 'Glade', which is surrounded by walls. He has no memory of the outside world and soon learns that this has happened to everyone who is in the Glade. He is also told not to enter through the opening as it is a maze. A deathly one. With time he becomes one of the runners who finds a way for an escape.
