Body found in a well

GUJAR KHAN: The body of a man was found from a well in Gujar Khan on Saturday.

According to police sources, Shahzeb, a resident of Kharian tehsil, was living in Gujar Khan and worked as a car painter in Guliana More area. He had been missing for three days. Passersby alerted the police after a foul odour emanated from a well behind Shahzeb’s workplace.

Rescue 1122 personnel arrived at the scene and saw the body floating in the well. They fished the body out and shifted it to Tehsil Headquarter Hospital for autopsy.

Mohammad Siddique, the father of the deceased, told the police that his son did not have enmity with anyone and might have committed suicide.
