KARACHI: Faisalabad Wolves and Rawalpindi Rams sealed comprehensive victories in their third-round matches of the PCB Inter-Region (Three-day) Cricket Tournament on Friday.

The Wolves whipped Fata Cheetahs by 204 runs in the Pool ‘B’ game at the Sports Stadium in Sargodha with Shahabul Khan taking six for 33 runs (match haul 9-103) on the third and final day as the Cheetahs were all out for 117 in their second innings.

The Rams were just too strong for newcomers Azad Jammu Kashmir Jaguars in sealing an innings and 82 runs win at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.

Forced to follow on after making 246 in reply to the Rams; 411-5, the Jaguars capitulated for only 83; Mohammad Shahrukh picked up five wickets for 42 runs.

In other matches ending on Friday, Lahore Lions defeated Abbottabad Falcons by four wickets, Peshawar Panthers outgunning Sialkot Stallions by seven wickets and Lahore

Eagles registering a 261-run victory over NCA Colts. The game between Bahawalpur Stags and Karachi Zebras ended in a draw at the Dring Stadium in Bahawalpur with the visitors taking first-innings’ points.
