ISLAMABAD: The Fed­eral Board of Revenue has withdrawn the zero-rating facility on supply of gas and electricity to nine textile units.

The order was implemented through three different sales tax general orders issued here on Thursday.

As per details, the zero-rating facility was withdrawn on supply of gas to A. J Spinning Mills (Pvt) Ltd; Asmar Textile; Bahoo Dyeing Indus­tries; Chaudhary Fabrics (Pvt) Ltd and Kohinoor Weaving Mills, respectively.

Similarly, the zero-rating on supply of electricity was withdrawn to Bahoo Dyeing industries; Chaudhry Fab­rics; Fancy Dyeing and Finishing Mills and Kohinoor Mills Limited.
